Subject to the limitations and conditions set
forth below, Codel Entry Systems, Inc. warrants the door will
be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship
for a period of five (5) years from the date of its original
installation. Codel grants this warranty only to the original
purchaser of the door and the original purchaser of the building
where the door was installed. THIS WARRANTY IS NOT
TRANSFERABLE.
The warranty excludes any defects in the coating on the door or any glass inserts or other accessories. Also excluded from the warranty are defects resulting from (1) exposure to acid, chemicals or fumes; (2) improper use; (3) improper installation; (4) improper maintenance; (5) water-related damage; or (6) a failure to follow any applicable installation, care or maintenance instructions.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY. MOREOVER, IN NO EVENT WILL CODEL BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Other rights vary from state to state and may apply to you. Some states and federal laws do not allow the exclusion of limited warranties. In the event these laws apply, then the length of any limited warranty shall be one (1) year or the shortest time in excess of one year permitted under applicable law. Similarly, some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages and, if applicable, this limitation will not apply.
If a defect occurs, Codel, at its sole option, will furnish a replacement door, repair the door or refund the original purchase price. CODEL'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE. CODEL WILL NOT PAY THE COSTS OF LABOR, INSTALLATION OR FINISHING FOR ANY REPLACEMENT DOOR. No representative of Codel or any other person has any authority whatsoever to assume for Codel any other liability or responsibility in connection with the door warranted herein.
If you have a warranty claim, please notify Codel Entry Systems, Inc. Include in the notice the following information:
- Description of door
- Name and address of owner and installer
- Proof of sale
- Detailed explanation of defect

Codel's Smooth Fiberglass door is guaranteed free of defects in material or workmanship that might unreasonably affect its performance. The terms of this warranty extend from the first date of purchase by the user for 25 Years Warranty. This warranty is for the original user and is non-transferable.
The terms of this expressed warranty exclude failures which are the result of or involve:
- Accident, abuse or improper use,
- Stress due to localized application of heat, movement of building or building components, or expansion or contraction of building or building components,
- Damage due to freight carriers, common carriers, private transportation, or any other means of transportation or handling, after shipping from Codel Entry Systems, Inc. Inc.,
- Misapplication, faulty building construction or design, including but not limited to installation or use in areas of high humidity or high vibration,
- Exposure of the Codel door itself, to the elements, improper or insufficient handling, storage, installation, maintenance or service,
- Fire, corrosive fumes, condensation damage, acts of God, and/or any events or actions beyond the control of Codel Entry Systems, Inc.,
- All components, parts, glass and labor supplied by parties other than Codel Entry Systems Inc. or its agents.
In the event of a warranty claim, written notice of the defect must be sent by certified U.S. Mail to Codel Entry Systems, Inc., 1510 St. Paul Ave., Tacoma, WA 98421 immediately upon the discovery of the defect and only within the original warranty period. The written notice must include the following:
- Door Catalog number and description
- Name and address of the owner and the installer
- Proof of Sale
- Date of the owner's purchase
- Place of purchase and from whom purchased
- Detailed explanation of defect
If Codel Entry Systems Inc. believes the Smooth Fiberglass door is defective within the terms of warranty, Codel Entry Systems Inc., will either (a) repair the Codel door without charge, (b) furnish a replacement Codel door from stock (installation of the replacement doorlite not included), or (c) refund the purchase price of the Codel Door in lieu of furnishing a replacement. If Codel Entry Systems Inc., elects to provide a replacement, the limited warranty of the replacement will extend only for the balance of the original warranty period. If the homeowner fails to provide satisfactory proof of the date of purchase, the date of manufacture shall be used instead.
The remedies set forth herein are the homeowner's exclusive remedies for breach of warranty. In no case shall Codel Entry Systems, Inc. be liable to the homeowner or any other person for any general, incidental or consequential damages. There is no other warranty, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except as is set forth herein. No distributor, dealer or Codel Entry Systems Inc. representative has the authority to change or modify this warranty and in no instance shall Codel Entry Systems Inc. be responsible for indirect, consequential or incidental damages.

Codel's Textured Fiberglass
door is guaranteed free of defects in material or workmanship that might

This warranty is for the original user and is non-transferable.
