Installation instructions 90 Degree Turn Cylinder

1 Loosen set screw (C) on knob using the Allen wrench provided.
 
2 Remove cylinder knob (D) from shaft of cylinder (B).
 
3 Insert key into key-slot (A).
 
4 Push the pin (E) down with the ring wrench (F) included. Turn cylinder shaft (B) until the arrow is pointing down (G).
 
5 Holding in this position, insert the cylinder body into door from the outside in.
 
6 Rotate key to bring cylinder into operating position (A).
 
7 Re-attach cylinder knob (D) horizontally on cylinder shaft (B) with set screw hold (C) facing down.
 
8 Tighten set screw (C).
 
9 Install cylinder screw though edge of door into side of cylinder to secure.
 
NOTE: If 90-degree turn cylinder was purchased after August, 2002, follow all steps above except for #6. It is no longer necessary to engage the cylinder with the key prior to removal.

TO REMOVE CYLINDER:
Loosen and remove cylinder screw (see step 9) and repeat steps 1 - 4 above.
Remember: Cylinder must be removed from the outside.
